Class 0 1967 Coming in as freshmen in 1963, the class of '67 had sixty-four members. We were an eager group, participating in many of the extra-curricular activities, and beginning to take our individual places in the school. In the spring we put on tlu'ee one-act plays, under the direction of Mrs. Doan. As sophomores our prestige had grown a little and we were getting a reputation as an enthusiastic class, to say the least. In the fall we presented three one-act plays, again directed by Mrs. Doan. Our junior year was perhaps our busiest. In the fall we held a magazine sale, in which we raised more money than any other class in the history of Harmony--a total of 52584. Also that fall, we presented a three-act play en- titled Girl from Outer Spacen, directed by Mr. Schakel. In April the annual Junior-Senior Prom was given by the Juniors. We worked long and hard, and to award our efforts, we presented the Seniors a memorable evening in The Isle of Golden Dreams. As Seniors at Harmony our main thoughts were not toward the past, but toward the future. In the fall and winter we were busily preparing for our futures, sending applications to colleges and employers. In the fall, we sold annual ads, adding up to 5466, which was considerably more than previous years. We took two trips, one to the State Penitentiary at Ft. Madison and to Des Moines to visit the legislature in session. Our senior class play was presented in April, entitled Cheaper by the Dozen. We had an over-capacity crowd and a very successful performance. The climax of our high school days were the baccalaureate and commencement exercises, when we officially were graduated after four years of rewarding experiences at Harmony. As spokesmen for the other classes, we set aside this space to remember... In memoriam: Robert Winslow Helen Mitchell Lee Bostock
