The 'A' squad Volleyball team had a tough season, ending with a 4-12 overall record and a conference record of 2-8. The team had a rough year with a new coach. With some members dropping out, the team held together with three seniors, three juniors, and five sophomores. These prospects look promising for next years volleyball team. They ended the regular season with a sole Maple Leaf Conference Championship. The team has a promising start in the playoffs for the State Championship in Class C. After winning three games in the Class C quarter and semi-finals, the Cardinals now go to the Metrodome to take on a tough Glyndon-Felton team, hoping to bring home the state championship.
