Profit can be defined as returns, proceeds, or revenue as from in- vestment, This definition of profit could serve to explain the relation- ship of our student body to Harlowton High School. I would hope that each person involved in the functioning of this school has made a profit as a great as his investment. May this annual portray your past investments and profits as well as indicate the future rewards that might be yours. Darrel Stoll, Principal It has been said that man is the only living thing that classifies, therefore, let this book portray the stu- dent groups to the extent that they help in the func- tioning of a school to further classify. This book shows groups by grades, by activities, by purpose, by goals achieved. It distinguishes fun groups from serious groups, physical training from mental development, tall from short, boys from girls, young from old, and others not apparent to me. One can draw a final sum- mation that this annual like annuals before it can serve only as a pictorial history of school events for the year 1970-71. May the senior class of 1971 have progressed through the classified groups to such an extent that they have gained the ability to decide which group they best fit. May the training that they have re- ceived during this period of formal education have prepared them to meet the challenge which lies ahead. Good Luck and may you all become fear- less leaders of your group. Joseph Fahn, Superintendent 4
