1968 ENGINEER August 28, 1967 - May 24, 1968 Harlowton High School Harlowton, Montana School Board FIRST ROW: William Watson—Chairman, Delbert Hartwick, James Zigweid, Dwain Meyer, Joseph Morse, Esther Parsons. SECOND ROW: Fred Martello, Audin Moe, Warren Jones, Reidar Johnson, Richard Berg. t Superintendent’s Message Congratulations Class of 1968 Harlowton High School, Harlowton, Montana on your commencement from Harlowton High School. This will be one moment in life that you will never forget. You have had many experiences during your school life that will be remembered for both good and bad impressions that may have been left with you. The good impressions will remain, the bad impressions were to build up from which accounts for the total experience. The adult life you are now meeting will continue to be filled with both bad and good experi- ences. Meeting these challenges will depend upon your attitude. Many sages say that this is presently a bad world to live in, however this story has been told many times. Not knowing what tomorrow brings causes some to exhort a pessimistic view. Others will stand up to the problems and challenges of life meeting them, solving them, and progressing onward. Onward Class of 1968. D. M. Hartwick Superintendent 2 My Best Wishes to You, MR. Hope- fully, the high quality and the traditions of this 1967 football team will continue to blossom so that more and more of our young men will feel the inspiration and learn die lessons that FIGHTING ENGINEER FOOTBALL has to offer. This was a season in which the players at all levels of competition enjoyed success in accomplishing many of their team goals. They also gained valuable playing experience which will aid the younger players in maintaining the standard of play of our graduating seniors. For the coaching staff it was also a gratifying experience to work widi boys who dedicated themselves to the principles of ENGINEER BASKETBALL; to live clean, to play hard, to win without boasting, to lose without excuses, and above all, to never forget that they represented our school. 66 Watch that ball Mike! ! The Vitamin C's were C squad members who received more basketball experience through intramural participation. The Colts emerged as regular season league winners and also won the intramural championship with a hard-fought, last second, one point, victory over the Rams who also finished second in the regular league standings. A surprise winner over the Packers, the Vitamin C's picked up their only win of the season in the tournament to gain a third place tourney finish.
