TEAM FOCTB LL LETTER N 3, l Freddie switched from guard, where he won All-District andAll-Valley honors, to fullback. H i s long punts and a g g r e s s iv e running playeda large part in our winning the district championship. T h i s w a s his last year. Robbie was the'only three year let- terman on the team this year. He switched fr om end, where he made the All-District and All-Valley teams, to tackle. The vac ancyhe leaves on the line will be exceeding- ly hard to fill next year. Bill is a two year letterman and re- ceive d his letter this year at left guard. Bill was one of the best line players. He was exceptionally good at bloc king and tackling. His ab- sence will be a great loss to the team next year. Donald, a letterman tackle, made an important switch to offensive guard. The la r ge holes he opened in opposing lines helped account for our consistent ground attack. He will be badly missed next year.

He willbe missed at fullback next year. George Labar Bob, a lett e r m an end, came back this year to fill in the all important quarterback spot. His quick think- ing and ac c ur ate passing led us through a ve r y successful season. He made the All-District and All- South Texas teams and honorable mention on the All-State team. Despite injuriesthat ac- companied him throughout the sea- son, his c a p a b l e ball carrying ac- counted for long yardage against the opposition. His lo s s will be felt by all next year. Bill could s na r e a ny kind of pass and was as elusive as a halfback. His st i c ky fingers and swivel hips accounted for lolhg yardage in every game. I-le will be very difficult to replace.
