In the annual skirmish be- tween the Cowboys and the Indians, the McCollum green blanked Harlandale 22-O in a game dominated all the way through by the Cowboys. Football l 4 Defense - name of game l Coaching the B-team were Mr. Mike Frazier and Mr. Luis Salinas. The boy that was the out- standing sophomore quarter- back was Jimmy Guerrero. ln carrying out a fine Har- landale tradition, defense was the name of the game. The B- sively and with desire, said Mr. Mike Barry. Season scores were four wins, four losses, and one tie. The schools that the B-team beat were Highlands l4-O, Edison l-4-6, Burbank 12-6, and Holmes 7-6. Schools that the B-team lost to were Sam 0, Brackenridge l6-6, and. South San l4-12. The only tie was with Fox Tech 14-14. The penalties were exceptionally low, and most of the games were won by small margins.
