Burbank's Bulldogs upend- ed Harlandale 21-8 in a game by Cowboy: which was plagued with fumbles that Burbank turned into score. Two touchdowns, one a 68 yard scamper by Mario Gonzalez and a 53 yard pass from Felix Pacheco to Joe Ramirez, were called back for penalties. Highlands Owls were placed into a tie for district champ with their 24-I4 win over the Indians. In the annual skirmish be- tween the Cowboys and the Indians, the McCollum green blanked Harlandale 22-O in a game dominated all the way through by the Cowboys.
