The 1986-'87 season was a win- ning one for the volleyball team. Winning twelve games and loosing only three, one of which was a play-off game, the team finished second in the Blue South Section. Team members were: Tiajuana Washington Csetterh, Yolanda Ross isetter and hitterb, Angela Robinson fhitterl, Nafeesah Brown lhitteri, Nicole Hawkins lhitterl, Diane Love Chitterb, Roberta Haynes lhitterj, Katrina McClain Chitterj, Tiffany Watkins Qhitterb, and Charlotte Morris Qhitterl. The five girls who formed the nucleus of the group were Taza Davis, Maya Fowler, Ebonie Patterson, Rebec- ca Muhammad, and Shonda Wells. With so few members, the team was unable to win any meets, however, many of them won first or second place in some of the indi- vidual competitions in which they swam.
