Jarrett at freethrow Blakemore goes for the hoop. Culverson for another two 2 'zt' f .. ,A-. Terrance Bonner advances upcourt. The 1986-87 basketball season re- volved around four basic objec- tives. These objectives were 1. to generate a positive mental atti- tude, 2. to instill a need fora legacy of service to the community, 15. to develop the need to keep life in proper perspective, and 4. to ad- vance past the first round of the city play-offs. Through hard work and team effort, the Falcons were able to reach these objectives. Not only did the team have the most successful season of the past four years, but also the team advance beyond the first round of the play- offs, losing a hard fought game to Simeon. The Harlan Falcons have proven that a goal-oriented team can meet with success. 121
