ORIENTATION Orientation Day is held two days during the last month of August. On this day, all students and their parents come to Harlan and prepare for another suc- cessful year in school. Registration fees are paid, pro- grams for the year are picked upg and, during a pro- gram sponsored by the Student Council, parents are given the rules and regulations of the school, and are told what we expect of their children. In order for this day to be a success, workers are needed. Thus, faculty, staff, and upperclassmen give up one or two days of their summer vacation to come in and help new students and old so that the opening days of the new school year will run smoothly.
