A. de- grees from the State Teachers College in Kirks- ville, Missouri. MISS ROBINSON, who has a B. A. degree from the State University of Iowa, teaches jun- ior English and speech. She directs all dramatics and is the sponsor of the National Thespians So- ciety and serves as co-sponsor of the freshman class. MISS RODDY, who has a B. F. A. degree from the University of Nebraska, is Harlan's fourth art teacher. She has charge of the art department and is co-sponsor of the iunior class. Home Economics is taught by M ISS SCHACK, who received a B. S. degree from Iowa State College. She sponsors the Home Econom- ics Club and the sophomore class. MR. WILLIAMS, who has his B. A. degree from Simpson College, teaches civics, United States History and sophomore English. The agricultural instructor is MR. WOODIN. The F. F. DARLEEN HOLM Harlan's new music teacher is MISS HOLM, who has a B. M. E. from the University of Ne- braska. She has charge of vocal music in Laurel school and in the high school. The instructor of shorthand and bookkeep- ing is MISS JACKSON. She received a B. A. de- gree from Iowa State Teachers College and is a sponsor of the senior class. Mechanical drawing and shop are taught by MR. JOHNSON, who is co-sponsor of the H Club and the freshman class. Mr. Johnson is coach of football and assistant coach in basket- ball and track. He has his B. S. degree from Northwest Missouri State Teachers College and an M. A. from the University of Wyoming. 1. .k' X4 Q Leo Koesten v 'six CLEM MARSDEN MR. KOESTER, who has a B. A. degree from Loras College, teaches Latin and freshman Eng- lish. The senior class and Latin Club are under his sponsorship. As athletic director of Harlan High, MR. MARSDEN is coach of track and basketball and assistant coach in football. He instructs mathe- matics and is co-sponsor of H Club and the Na- tional Honor Society. He has his B. S. degree from Iowa State Teachers College and an M. S. degree from Drake University. MRS. MUSHRUSH, the school nurse, re- ceived her R. N. at the Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital.
