LIBRARY MISS GEORGIA MAE CREWS, B. A. Librarian University of Richmond The Library, a bright, and spacious room, provides for the cadets and faculty a pleasant center for recreational reading, reference work, and study. A collection of about 2200 volumes includes standard and up-to-date references, and recreational reading in both fiction and non-fiction. A large selection of current magazines and newspapers is one of the most popular features of the Library. Cadets are encouraged in their individual reading interests, and with guidance are led to improve their tastes in reading, and to develop an appreciation of the values and pleasures of good reading. A course in the Use of the Library is offered as part of the English program, and is required of all students who have not pre- viously had such training. - 16
