BLACK zcsmokyaa PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA Private, Company MBT Member Cosmopoli- tan Clubg Member ,Ieffersonian Literary So- ciety. '4Smoky is one of our Dutchmen with the exception that he is a very quiet fellow. He came to Hargrave in the Spring of '27 and has been here since, he seems to care a lot for dear ol' Hargrave, for he remained over the past Summer and finished a lot of work. L4Smoky,' has made quite a lot of friends since he came to Hargrave and he is liked by all of us. He doesn't like the athletic field so much, but he is a smart guy in class. He leaves us with the intention of becoming a great business-man, and if he continues with the same spirit he has shown here at Har- grave, we are sure that he will reach his goal. JASON THOMAS COLLIE CCReLi79 RINCCOLD, VIRGINIA Private, Company MBU, Private, Company HA , Sergeant, Company MAH, Member: Jef- fersonian Literary Society, S. O. S. Club, Var- sity Club, Varsity Football, Baseball, Track, and Basketball, Vice-President Jeffersonian Literary Society, Secretary Athletic Council. '6Red', is another of the Pittsylvania boys who was out looking for his famed long-eared mule one day in the Fall of '25, when, by chance, he ran upon Hargrave and took a likin, to the place to such an extent that he has been with us since. We never did find out just where the mule was found, but uRed,' hasnit bothered about it in the least, so we think that perhaps the old plug was heart- broken and passed away to unknown lands. HPted', is a very likable fellow among the cadets and the Faculty, and he has also shown up well on the athletic field. As you leave us, uRed,,' we extend our best wishes for your success in this big world.
