Harford Players Formed The cast: Mr. Weiss, adviser; Mrs. Blair, Mr. Kohan, Mr. Holden, Miss Smith, Mr. Collier, Miss Richie, Miss Brown, Miss Louch. The Harford Players, 3 drama Mr. Weiss gchs the cast advice. group, was formed in F ebtuaty, 1959, The Players, under the direc- tion of Mr. Weiss, gave their first production, Tennessee William's The Glass Menagerie, in April. It is hoped that the Harford Players will continue giving fine productions in the future. Ruth Ann Smith and Lawrence Kohan act out their parts as-Pat Collier and Stockton Holden look on. Two cast members discuss their parts.

Students and Faculty enjoyed the dance. There was a large attendance at the first dance of the year. Sweethea rt Dance Beneath a canopy of red and white streamers and paper hearts, the students and faculty of Harfotd Junior College danced to the music of the Esquires; as the Student Council presented our first dance of the year, a Sweetheart Dance held on January 31, from 9 to 1. Soft candlelight enhanced the beauty of the refreshment table where white pom-poms, pink snap- dragons, holly, pine, and cedar formed the centerpieces for the punch bowls. We salute the Student Council for presenting us an enjoyable evening. Special thanks go to the people on the decoration committee who worked diligently to make this dance a success; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cook, Mrs. Georgia Thomi- son, Miss Ruth Brown, Miss Margaret Ritchie, MI. Don Bromley, Mr. Francis Parrish, Mr. ,David Reed, and to all who contributed to the refreshment table. Music was supplied by the Esquites
