'iv 4 i l i if Foreword Pridwen is our book-our memory book to treasure and cherish now and in the years to come. In it we have pictured our enjoyable times-the dances, assemblies, pep rallies, football and basketball games: our serious times--the Retreats, May Crownings, Classes. weekly Masses, and class Communions: our busy times--the drives, Fashion Shows, oratoricals, clubs, and senior play. Pridwen portrays the spirit of trust, humility, and truth exemplilied in the army of youth in our school. It reveals the purity of youth and their zealous endeavors to advance in the ranks so that year by year they may more worthily serve as faithful troops in the fight for truth and peace throughout the world. It shows beauty, but simplicity of beauty in the ways of these students. I Under the banner of Our Lady's Immaculate Con- ception, we unfurl our true devotion to her and her Divine Son. It is through her protection and guidance that we carry out the ideals and ideas instilled into us by the unselfish, dedicated faculty of Bishop McDevitt High School. ' May the purity and serenity of Mary penetrate into the very fiber of every soldier enlisted here in the camping grounds of our beloved Alma Mater. :WL M a F., J-I Y! , a i' .F rp ff J' ff I V' -X' y' f y, -.. -Q - -4--.,.
