Theresa told Keeling to open up and let her inn? We got 1004 in banking? we auctioned the Christmas Cards? we did disnes during the penny sale? Ernie ran from a Freshman girl? Harold had to fix our clock almost weekly? Some of the Seniors turned out to be nuts' at a Freshman Assembly? Eddie played in the ping pong tournament? Jerry ordered the Freshman hats? Willy played the piano for Mrs Kambour? A girl left a nickel in her report card for Miss Kelleher? Did it work, June? Janice and Jonathan were original? The boys played in the basketball tournament? We found out that Kenny bought his shoes for only a quarter? we started looking for our baby pictures? Marion almost burned up the lab with a Bunsen burner, and it turned out to be Betty Ann's fault? We started planning for our class trip? we went to Barre for our X rays? fDidn't hurt did it, Margie?D Our room won first prize for decorations at Christmas? Swell job, Bob We had a contest for the yearbook cover? Didn't know we had so The Senior Boys started reading 'High Class magazines in a study? Sylvia and Harold went to a safety convention? Jackie told about Good Government Day? I wonder if the teachers will get a raise? One girl came up with a new name, Maxis? U Johnny sang for us? George played the piano and Harold danced at a Senior Farewell? Jackson broke the class window with an eraser Keeling's car was carried away Miss Kelleher walked in class with a curler in her hair? 0.101393 EHUSTTCDU2 1950 1951 Well, here we come, lucky Hardwick High 29 gay, intelligent, Freshmen SEPT 4 At first we found high school quite confusing, but as everyone seemed friendly to us, we easily became acquainted We organized as a class this month, electing as class officers President John Krol Vice President Jerry Barry Secretary Sylvia Allen Treasurer Betty McDonald OCLOBLB Finally came what every Freshman waits for nThe Freshman Reception U At this event we were presented with most attrac tive blue and white beanies to wear until our Christmas vacation NOVEMBER We were working hard on our first class play,nIet s Make Up' under the direction of Mr Nimtz and Miss Kelleher We were very proud when we won second prize DECBMBLR This busy month we were very proud to have our class represented by Jackie Krol and Sylvia Allen on the first teams in basketball Betty Marritt and June Gage joined the cheering squad We also had a wonderful time at the Christmas party sponsored by the faculty FhBsUARY Boy, were those exams tough But the Valentine Dance cheered us up after that ordeal MAY The Junior Prom was coming up Of course we Freshmen never actually guessed we would go, but what a thrill' Seven or eight were really invited They all had fun JUNE School wws over, summer vacation was here at last 1951 1952 SEPlLhnhH Back to school again. We were very unfortunate in losing five of our classmates! Leona Duval, Betty Davis, Richard Hutchins, John Wass, and Eleanor Brend.
