Frances Pine, principa1's secretary, and Bernice Rogers, office secretary, were aided by many and gave aid to hundreds as the busy days got busier. Teachers new to Harding knew they could count on the secretaries' skill and know-how as many confronted students for the first time. Harding was led by Principal Robin Gaston, his second year as head man. Ollie Cooper and Joe Medlock were the well-qualified vice principals. The administration, working on the objec- tives of a better school environment, gained help from teachers and students in implemen- ting the Green Dream.
