Cooper And Hodges Work With Students OLL IE COOPER This year Harding has had two experienced and well-qualified vice principals, Ollie Cooper and Bill Hodges. Their main responsibilities were to maintain discipline among students. Mr, Hodges worked with the seventh and eighth grade while Mr. Cooper worked with the ninth grade class. Often these two men were seen at extra-curricular activities and have become two of the most well- known and respected members of the Harding faculty. BILL HODGES

RobinGaston Gaston Brings New Ideas To Harding Mr, Robin Gaston needs no introduction. Students and faculty both have respected and relied on his dependability this year. A former teacher and counselor, Mr. Gaston approached the responsibility of being a principal with new ideas and concepts. One of his main objective' goals was to have a school environment where the rights, dignity, and worth of each individual are important and accepted. Hardirg is proud to have had Mr. Robin Gaston as their principal during the 1970-'71 school year. As respected as he is competent, Mr. Gaston added self-respect and dignity to Harding's image. Counselors Aid Kids In Solving Problems Harding's three counselors, Chloe Shinn, seventh gradeg Harold Greenwood, eighth gradeg and Major Wilson, ninth grade, help students with their school problems. This not only includes schedule changes but per- sonal problems too. The counselors follow each class until they graduate, For example, last year Mr. Wilson was the eighth grade counselor and this year he was the ninth grade counselor. Next year he will be the seventh grade coun- selor.
