JOANNE 1. JOHNSON Joe rated Gone With the Wind as her favorite motion picture. She was the Head-Flag Twirler, a Student Council Member, Beacon Repre- sentative, and a candidate for Homecoming Queen and Queen of Hearts. The Pep Club. G.A.A., Audio Visual, and Y-Teens were also included in Joe's wide variety of interests. Future plans: Work. JUNE DORIS JOHNSON June was a helper in the office and the library. Farewell to Arms was the motion picture which really impressed her. Class Ring was her favorite book, and the expression which she used most frequently was Oh Yeah? Her future plans include work and marriage. KAREN JEANNETTE JOHNSON Karen or Ole as she is called, was overwhelmed by the book en- titled A Man Called Peter. She also particularly enjoyed the motion picture The Ten Commandments. How's that grab ya? is the ex- pression you are most likely to hear from Karen. After graduation she would like to enter a school of nursing. LAURENCE O'NEILL JOHNSON Included in the numerous organizations of which Larry was an active member are the Tennis Team, Central Contact Committee, Junior and Senior Steering Committees, the H Club, and the Pep Club. He was also A Choir President and a candidate for the King of Hearts. Hi ya Girls! is his well-known, favorite expression. Future: College. His favorite motion picture was To Hell and Back. I'll never know! is the expression he uses the most. Upon graduation Roger will gain higher education at a trade school. ALLEN JONES Al took part in A and B Football, A Hockey, H Club, was a candidatefor Student Council, and was on Noon Patrol. What do ya say Jack ? was his favorite saying. He enjoyed the movie Giant and the book Wyatt Earp. After graduation he will either get married, go to college, or enter the Air Force. GARY JORDAN During his Freshman year at Harding, Gaddy was a member of Mike and Key. His favorite book and expression are respectively, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and The devil with it! The most enjoyable motion picture he has ever seen was The Vikings. After graduation Gary will work, but is uncertain as to what field. DAVID ANTHONY JORGENSEN The movie which made a deep impression on Dave was The Ten Commandments. I s'pose is his favorite expression. He was a Red Cross Representative, a Metal Shop helper, and a candidate for King of Hearts. His most enjoyable book was To Hell and Back. Dave's plans for the future are indefinite. KAREN PATRICIA JOSEPHSON The Sweetheart and Homecoming dances were graced with Karen among the candidates for Queen. An active member of the Red Cross, she was her homeroom Red Cross Representativeg G.A.A. morning sessions also helped to start her days out right. You might have heard Karen's shouts as she helped the Pep Club. THOMAS STEVENS JUNGE Little C.J. favors the motion picture Around the World in Eighty Days. The saying he uses the most is I don't want the small stuff. While at Harding Tom was a member of Spyso which is a social studies club, and P.T.S.A. College and a career in engineering are his The Vocal Music Department was one of Meredith's varied in- terests. She was also a member of the A Choir and the Madrigal Singers. Mary participated on the Student Governing Board, In- Between-Patrol, Governor-Knights Committee, and was a candidate for Miss Print and Daisy Mae. She plans to enter an Airline Steward- Willy was a member of the Harding Track Team. Every other word that you heard from him was Oh, for crying out loud! Hi-C, Pep Club, and Guidance Helper were some of the activities which she participated in while at Harding. She plans to seek a job after graduation. CAROL JEAN HOYT Carol liked Northwest Passage as her favorite book and Tunnel of Love as her favorite movie. Her most used expression is I'll never tell , after graduation she plans to go to college or get married. LORETTA MARIE HUBER G.A.A., Pep Club, A Choir, German Club, and Office Helper were some of the activities which Lorrie participated in while at Hard- ing. She rated Practically Seventeen as her favorite book, and The King and I as her favorite movie. Good enough is her most used expression. After graduation she plans to do secretarial work. HELEN FRANCES HUBERTY Ya better believe it is Hubey's most used expression. She par- ticipated in Pep Club, Red Cross, P.T.S.A., Junior Steering Committee, Student Council, and Contact while at Harding. Dawn's Early Light is the book that she rated her favorite and Farewell to Arms as her best liked movie. Future plans after graduation include work. HARVEY HENRY HUELSMAN Harvey or as he is better known, Butch was very enthusiastic about the movie, The Vikings. His favorite book was To Hell and Bark. The expression he uses the most is So what? Upon graduation Butch will enter the Navy. CRAIG WARREN HUFFMEIER Huff' liked the movie Shane and the book Secret Cargo he rated as his favorite. While at Harding he belonged to B Basketball. His most used expression is What do ya think I amg anyhow? Future plans after graduation include becoming a conservationist. NANCY LOUISE INFELISE Nanc belonged to G.A.A., Pep Club, Contact, Drama Club, F.T.A., Gopher Historian, and National Honor Society. She was East Wind Princess in the Winter Carnival of 1957. The expression that she finds herself using the most is Hey Fellas! She plans to go on to college. DAVE JAEGER Dave liked the movie To Hell and Bark and after graduation he plans to go into a branch of the service or find a job. DAv1D JENSEN The Pep Club and P.T.S.A. were two of the activities that Dave participated in throughout his years at Harding. Sayonara was the most enjoyable motion picture that he has ever seen. His favorite saying is What do you man? Dave's plans for the future include going on to college. MARY CATHERINE JENSEN Cathy thought that Gone With the Wind was a very interesting book. She was quite enthusiastic about the movie, Tammy and the Bachelor. Girls Glee Club and Journalism I are the activities that Cathy participated in during her years at Harding. That's the way life goes! is her favorite expression. After she graduates, she would like to travel and then enter a business school. CYNTHIA ANN JOHNSON Junior Steering Committee, G.A.A., the Pep Club, Knight-Lites, and the Senior Steering Committee are some of the organizations Cindy was a member of during her years at Harding. But I don't wanna! is her favorite expression. A career in the field of medicine is the highest goal for Cindy. DARLENE JOHNSON To her friends, Darlene was Dar or Dee and My Gosh, was her favorite saying. During her years at Harding, Dar was a Pep Club and P.T.S.A. member. The Ten Commandments rated high on her list of exceptional motion pictures. Upon graduation, her plans include marriage and working in an office. WILLIAM CHARLES KELLY Let's blow you guys! - Ever heard that expression before? Well, if you knew Bill , you heard that quite often. Rebel without a Cause was the movie he enjoyed the most. After graduation from Harding his future plans are as yet indefinite. ALMIRA KERNTOP After graduation Bunny wants to attend a reputable modeling school. When I want any remarks from you, I'll rattle your cage! was always her favorite expression. Bunny enjoyed the book Man of the Family and her favorite motion picture was Rebel Without a Cause. She was also a participant in G.A.A. JOHN JOSEPH KEPLINGER Johnny as John would just as soon be called, has high hopes of being a chef. Therefore after graduation he is planning on going to some reputable cooking school. In perfect keeping with his chosen profession is his pet expression. What is it? Swello Jello. LEE CHARLES KIRSCHBAUM The Big Country is the motion picture Lee most enjoyed seeing. He was in the 1956 operetta, and he has been a Student Council Repre- sentative. He seems to cherish the expression Holy Mackeral Dare ? After he graduates, Lee intends to take a trip to California before entering college in the fall. , N. Some of Aud's time at Harding has been spent in participation in A Choir and Red Cross. You'll often hear her saying I'll never tell, but she isn't being obstinate. She's just using a favorite expression. Though she plans to work, she is undecided about the field. KAREN AURORA KLETI' The Ten Commandments was Karen's favorite motion picture, and she says that Kings Go Forth was her favorite book. She belongs to the German Club, the Pep Club, and P.T.S.A. Karen was also her home- room Red Cross Representative. Her future plans include a college of her choice. CORRINE MARIE KLINK Corrine, better known to her friends as Rinnie, favored the book The Moemxin Flower. She thought that the motion picture No Time for Sergeants was delightful. After leaving Harding, Rinnie plans to enter America's and even the world's largest career for women - marriage. JEANINE MARIE KLOCOW To all her friends she is fondly known as Pudge. Jeanine may be known for the many trying hours she has invested while on the Beacon and Saga Staffs. She is also a member of the Pep Club, Contact, and the P.T.S.A. Board. The business world is Jeanine's goal in life right now. KATHLEEN ANN KOCH Kathleen, or Kathy as she prefers to be called, enjoyed Sayonara and she says the book Magnificent Obxexxion was great. The Pep Club, P.T.S.A., and G.A.A. were some of her interests at Harding. Though it may not be her life's work, she foresees office work as her future occupation. NANCY CHARLETTE KOESTER Nanc was a candidate for Miss Print and Homecoming Queen. She participated in the Pep Club, Y-Teens, Girls Gleen Club, A Choir, Knight-Lites, and G.A.A. She also held a role in an operetta, she was a flag twirler and she has been a gym leader. After graduation she intends to both go to school and work. BEVERLY JUNE KOLB Becky rates The Vikings as one of her favorite movies. How 'bout that! is one of her frequently used sayings. Madrigal Singers, A Choir, SS operetta, the Pep Club, and P.T.S.A. are a few of the activities she has participated in. Becky's after-graduation plans in- clude becoming a nurse. MARION JACQUELINE KOLODZIEJSKI Marion's activities in her three years at Harding have included Y-Teens, Knight-Lites, and G.A.A. Among her favorite motion pic- tures was In Love and War. She rated Gone With the Wind as the book which was most enjoyable for her. Marriage and working are her plans for the future.
