JOSEPH BARBARI To Hell and Bark was the motion picture Joe enjoyed the most. He was an equipment manager and a Gym Leader. His activities also included Football. Contact, and P.T.S.A. Upon graduation Joe plans to enter the Navy. ROBERT THORNTON BA RTE Cross-Countrv, Track, Swimming, A Choir, H Club. and the 1957 operetta, The Ilearllesr Troll , are some of the various activities Bob participated in while at Harding. His favorite expression is Hey Just one more time ! and he enjoyed the movie The Vikings. After graduation he plans on entering the Air Force. ARLENE RUTH BARTIZAL Her friends fondly call her Leenie. She has participated in the Pep Club, the German Club. and Junior Achievement. Oh, No Kiddinglu is her favorite expression. Probably business education and a secre- tarial position are her plans for the future. JENNIFER EVELYN BARTIZAL Jenny's activities at Harding have included P.T.S.A., G.A.A., the Beacon Staff. the Saga Staff, and Junior Achievement. She rated The King and I as her favorite movie. The saying which she uses the most is Oh Really! Like her sister, Jenny also plans to enter a business school upon graduation. LAXVRENCE BASTIAN Central Committee for Contact, H Club, Student Governing Board, Drama Club, Track, Cross Country, Gopher Historian Club, P.T.S.A. Board National Honor Society, and Noon Patrol are some of the activities Larry participated in while at Harding. Zoot-ta-May was his favorite expression. His future plans after graduation in- clude college. ELAINE ELEANOR BECK Sam liked the book, The Good Ear!h and the movie, The Ten Commandments. Her most used expression is Oh well. She partici- pated in P.T.S.A. and after graduation she plans to work. SALLY ANN BECKEN Sal participated in A Choir, G.A.A., Pep Club, P.T.S.A., Girls Glee, also a Student Council Rep. Class Ring was her favorite book Farewell to Arms her favorite movie. I'll never tell is her most used expression. She plans to go into nurses training after graduation. CAROLYN JEAN BELISLE Carol's favorite saying is Forget it, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing, was her favorite movie. Liltle Women is her best liked book. She belonged to Contact, Red Cross and P.T.S.A. Her plans after graduation include work. -J 've-4' 9: Vu- A -'3 .N xi D 'VRD 1' 94 YNQ-p aa J'--Qs, iii' 1 1 M-,A WARREN BELTZ , Tiger rates Suyonara as his favorite movie and Ivanhoe as his favorite book. It does not pav to think! is his most used expression. He belonged to the Archery Club and was a shop helper. He played football in his freshmen year. His future plans include trade school. LAWRENCE H. BENSON Larry enjoyed the book, Hot Rod. Thunder Road was the movie which he was enthusiastic about. His favorite expression is That's jockey! Larry's plans for the future are undecided. DIANE JEAN BERGERON De was on the job training. Honestly is her favorite saying. She rates Sayonara as her most enjoyable movie and From Here lo Eternity as the favorite book. De plans to attend business school after graduation. JAMES BERNIE Jim's activities included H -Club, and .the swimming team. His favorite book was Ivanhoe , and Great is his favorite expression. He's very interested in joining the services after graduation.

I ei JOHN PAUL ALLEN John is known to all his friends as Jack . High on his list of favorite books is Bridge on lbe River Kwai. His activities at Harding included the Tennis team, the H Club, and P.T.S.A. Jack was quite enthusi- astic about the movie The Vikings. He will join a military service after graduation. ROBERT CHARLES ALBRECHT Boh's favorite hook was The Sea lVolf. He was a member of P.T.S.A. and Trades Training. Howdy is his most used expression. Bob really enjoyed the motion picture, To Hell and Back. Upon graduation, he plans on entering a trade school or one of the armed forces. ARMOND JAM ES ANDRESS Arm took part and was an active member of Mike and Key-fresh- man year, Audio Visual-sophomore year. During his junior year, he was on the Hall Patrol and in Occupational Survey. His favorite ex- pression is Watch yourself old man. Higher education and marriage are his plans for the future. NANCY DARLENE ANDERSON The book which she enjoyed the most was Ben-Hur. Dee feels that the best movie she has ever seen was Tlre Ten Commtmflmenls. She participated in Student Council, A Choir. German Club. the operet- ta The Heartless Troll, F.T.A., the Pep Club, and Junior Achievement. Oh, you know! is her most used expression. Dee hopes to at- tend some college after graduation. RONALD EVERETT ANDERSON w ees. is this boy's favorite expression. The book Andy en- joyed most was Slreet Rod. He was very impressed with that wonder- ful motion picture, The Robe. Upon graduation, Andy would like ADRIENNE JEAN ANGBERG Come on you guys! is the expression Ade uses the most. Her numerous activities include Student Council. the Flag Twirlers, the Senior Steering Committee, and the Beacon Representatives. She was also a candidate for Oueen of Hearts. Ade's future plans are to fur- ther her education at Macalester College. AURELIO HENRY AGUIRRE Pee Wee took an active interest in Gymnastics and A Football teams. He also was a participant in Student Council, Jr. Steering Com- mittee, and the H Club. His favorite expressions include That's life and How about that. Henry plans to attend a fashion design- ing school after graduation. JOAN LOUISE ARRIGONE During her years at Harding, Joanne has been a member of Contact, a Student Council Representative, and in Occupational Relations. The saying which she uses the most is That's a nasty break. Joanne rated I'Il Cry Tomorrow as her favorite book. Her preference is toward a career as an airline stewardess , - as A G ! 5 , m--...M ' lg 1 to enter college. 1 ' Q i' ' ,ti . J in , ' j 1 els N X N L if RUTH MARIE ASHTON Gee whiz! is the saying Ruthy uses most frequently. High on the list of her favorite motion pictures was Roman Holiday. She really enjoyed the book. The Robe. Her favorite club is the German Club of which she has been a member for three years. When Ruthy graduates, she plans to become a registered nurse. SANDRA RAE AVOLES AV was an active and energetic participant in many varied activi- ties. Among these were Homecoming Oueen, second attendant to Miss Print. a Cheerleader, Student Governing Board, Madrigal Singers. and corresponding secretary to the Student Council. I can't see it. No future in it: but, think of the fun! is her favorite expres- sion. Av's future plans after graduation are, as of yet, undecided. MYRON BAILEY R.C. says that his favorite motion picture was The Al jolsorr Story. While at Harding. he participated in A Choir for two years. You're a card and should be dealt with! is his most used expression. Work- ing and marriage are his plans for the future. JUDITH K. BAKKE Red Cross and Student Council are two of the activities -Judy par- ticipated in during her high school years. She rated Farewell to Arms as her favorite movie. The saving that ludy uses most frejquently is All that jazz! Her future plans include advanced education in the jgfield of art.

He participated in Swimming and Audio-Visual. He plans to go to college after graduation. THOMAS JEFFERY BERRY Tomlrates Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo as the book he enjoyed most. He liked the movie In Love and War . He participated in Football and H Club. His future plans include college. SUSAN JEAN BESCH Susie's activities include Pep Club, J.A., Choir, G.A.A., and O.S.K. She rates No Time for Sergeanlf' as her favorite movie and English Workshop as the book she enjoyed most. Her favorite expression is Let's lam outa here. Future plans: Secretary. SHARELL ANNE BETTENDORF Sharell says her favorite saying is Ah ha now, there's a sign of mental instability you guys. She belonged to the Pep Club and Hi-C. No Time for Sergeant? was her favorite movie. Her future plans include business college. JARITA MARIE BIBEAU Oh, Gosh , is her most commonly used expression. War and Peace is Jerrie's favorite movie and she rates Gone With the Wind as her favorite book. She was Red Cross Representative for two years. She will marry after graduation. RALPH BLAND While at Harding, Ralph was a member of the Pep Club and P.T.S.A. Aw Gee! was the expression he used most frequently. His highest rated book was Ho! Rod and To Hell and Back took first on his list of favorite motion pictures. Ralph has no definite plans for the future. RONALD C. BOENISH Ron was a candidate for homecoming king and took part in Football. He said Battle Cry was the movie he enjoyed most. To Hell and Back he rated as his favorite book. Is that a fact is an expression he often uses. Ron plans to go to college. JEANNE LUCILLE BOYLE Her nickname is Cimmeron. She took part in Y-Teens, G.A.A., German Club, Pep Club, and Drama Club. She was a Miss Print candidate and a Red Cross Representative. Ya, but but is a favorite expression. Jeanne rates Raintree County as her favorite movie. She plans to study modeling after graduation. BETTY JANE BRANDT Betty says Sayonam was her favorite movie. She was a G.A.A. Board Member and an office helper. She also participated in A Band, P.T.S.A., and G.A.A. Her most common expression is Cut it out. Working and traveling are in her plans after graduation. DAVID HAROLD BRANDT Dave is a member of Gopher Historians, H Club, and National Honor Society. He also was President of Student Council, Senior Class Treasurer, and Treasurer helper on the P.T.S.A. Board. He received the Beacon Award as a Junior and Senior. He was King of Hearts and participated in A and B Football, A and B Basketball and Baseball. He will go to college after graduation. CLIFFORD DUANE BRANDVOLD Cliff rates War and Peace as his favorite book and To Hell and Barkf as a movie he enjoyed the most. I'll say is his favorite ex- presston. He is undecided about plans for after graduation. SHIRLEY ANN BRONSON Shirtz frequently uses the expression That gets my goat.
