fcil' Principal, MR. HOMER W. GODFREY Assislant Principal, MR. IOHN D. THOMAS lu, ,ggw au -M.-.if Q in x SX ., Thirty-three years ago Harding opened its doors to 488 students. Only the superb and tireless effort of Harding's principal, Mr. Godfrey, along with the competent know-how of Assistant Principals Thomas and Gilleland, could cope with problems that develop in a building which now houses over 1650 students, 850 above capacity. Though Harding's doors opened in 1926, its first graduating class was in 1952 for the school began as a junior high school and developed into the senior level. That first graduating class contained 32 members. The 1959 Class of approximately 375 is a tribute to the sin- cere interest and activity of Hardingls ad- minstrators. Assistant Principal, MR.
