El Club de Espanol Presta Un Humor Festivo Under the direction of Mrs. Radwin, advisor, and officers Fred White, president, Sue Huddlestun, vice president, Karen Ropke, secretary, and Becky Toz- er, treasurer, the Spanish Club had a very profitable and active year. The Spanish Fiesta, held in early December, was the highlight of the year. It included a live nativity scene, a Spanish Mariachi band, and Spanish food. The Spanish Club also had a bazaar at the fiesta in which they sold handmade belts, purses, and wall hangings made by members. A new hours system was set up by the Spanish Club this year. In order to take the planned trip to Cedar Point in the spring, members were required to have accumulated at least three-fourths of the total possible hours. Members received hours for being at meetings, serving on committees, and for contributing items such as food for the fiesta and for bake sales. Translation for headline: Spanish Club lends Festive Mood 22 Directing activities of Fiesta are F. White and Mrs. Radwin. ls it hot?!?
