UNI mg the 1-Jw H Phil Sykes Jim Merchant .Ian Taylor Eliqah Green CAUGHT IN BETWEEN Though caught in between the sophomores and seniors the pinch has been both pleasant and profitable under the leadership of Phil Sykes Jim Merchant Jan Taylor and Elllah Green lt IS said the gumor year IS the best one for there is still another to come lt has been a full year for many with the lure of classes athletics musical groups and dramatlcs lt we do say it we think our choir this year was tops and in our three act drama we really convinced an enthu siastic audience that You Cant Take lt With You.' The iunior talent assembly displayed our varied talents in a modest sort of way. Determination gave Mrs. Grigsby's homeroom the honor of leading the school in the annual sales tax drive. Our senior year seemed out of reach until that thrilling day when we ordered our class rings some to keep others to give away even before they had come Junior Senior Prom night actually arrived and what a pleasure it was to play host to the seniors IH a gala whirl Our motto has been a challenge and shall con tinue to be next year for Isnt it best to go Forward ever backward never? The white carnation is our flower and pink with navy blue are our colors Spring gives us a realization that because we have completed American Literature and American History we are ready to sign for American Government, and select some major subjects perhaps in D.E. or O.P. The year has gone fast, next year will go faster, but how we hope we will be in the making for the best senior class ever to be graduated. Ready to let us loose?
