JUXVIUH H!6'H 670019 5' The 1959-60 season was an exceptionally good one for the junior high sports. The football team posted a 6-4 record and the basketball team mark was 12-3. The wrestlers placed several boys in regional and state tour- naments. The grid team came on strong after early-season losses to West, of Norman, Iohn Marshall, and highly- regarded Monroney. The squad downed such teams as Classen, Grant, and Central. Prospects for the 1960-61 varsity basketball team will look much better with the addition of most of the letter- men from this season's junior high group. This year's squad is considered the best in the history of Harding. The team missed being number one in Oklahoma City by only three points, as they were downed 30-27 by Moon in the championship game at the end of the season. Harding placed seven boys in the junior high wrest- ling regionals, which qualified them for the state tourna- ment. The Eagles also took fourth place as a team.
