Hurting from the graduation of almost the entire 1958-59 team, the 1959-60 basketball squad slumped to a 5-17 record. The Eagles were fifth in the Capital conference with a 4-8 regular-season conference record and they were 1-1 in the regionals. Iohn Marshall, Southeast, and Clas- Bill Hill hooks right over his Clausen opponent. sen were Harding's victims this year. The season's peak was probably reached with the two victories over Southeast which was a power in the state as well as the conference.
