TENTH GRADE ACTIVITIES The 10th grade students of Harding High formed a class organization early in January. By this time we had become better acquainted with each other and with our teachers. We selected as our officers the following: President, Dennis Scruggsg Vice President, C. G. Longg Secretary, Helen Fishery Treasurer, Harold Watt. We were glad to know that Mrs. Iois Roach had already been named as our class advisor. Short business meetings were held monthlv. At one of these inectings we elected the following superlatives: Cutest girl, Annie Katherine Millerg cutest boy, George Shivarg most beautiful girl, -Helen Keistlerg most handsome boy, Herbert Spchlg most pop- ular girl, Annie Katherine Millerg most popular boy, C. G. Longg best all- round girl, Rebecca Hartmang best all-around boy, Harold Wattg dumbest boy, Joe Dooleyg dumbest girl, Maxine Wattersong bets sport, Dennis Scruggsg most courteous girl, Cleo Harrisong most courteous boy, Coit Troutmanp wit- tiest, Wilbur Snipes. Our first social meeting was a candy pull on St. Valentine's Day. On St Patrick's Day we had a big party in grand style. Wc wore costume hats gaves a formal program, and served an ice course. On May 22nd we joined the ninth grade class in a picnic at Bryant Park. Page Fourteen 9
