An unexcelled intramural program offers every man and woman the opportunity to develop ability in sports skills as Well as totparticipate in vigorous competitive team sports. Recreationallactivity classes help students to develop skill in sports that can be played through- out adult life. The coaches and physical education instructors stress the value of good health habits and good sportsmanship. The group research pro- gram 0n the scientific evaluation of physical fit- ness levels is making significant contributions to knowledge in the area and is opening the pathway to better health. In flag football, one of the most popular sports offered in the intramural pmgram, teamwork and coordination provide impetus for winning plays. 10
