oday Harding College has an ex- cellent plant consisting of twenty-six modem educational buildings. The assets of the college are 3111000900 which includes 5355001000 in endowment. Statistical data, l'mvveven cannot reveal the basic importance of Harding College because it transcends material values. Its purpose is to give students an education of high quality which will lead to an understanding and a philosophy of life consistent with Christian ideals. Each student is given an oplmrtlmity to get a broad educational harkgmunri through the carefully planned core of general education courses and to develop a strong1 motivating faith through the study of the Bible each semester. A student may choose his major from among twenty-two areas. The School of American Studies trains capable students for leadership careers in business, pub- lic life and education. Harding College offers graduate work leading to the degree of Master of Arts in Teaching; which is also accredited.
