One noticeable change is the terrific growth in the number of students. In 1958 the graduating class consisted of no more than 12 seniors and the class of 1982 is considerably larger. We've also seen changes in the areas of academics, sports, and achieve- ments as a whole. Harding offers courses in a variety of subjects and advanced courses for high- achievers. The athletics depart- ment is one of the best in the city of Memphis and has given the school much to be proud of. The 1982 SHIELD wishes to remind you of the hard work and effort that dedicated people have put in to making Harding Academy what it is today.
