Hardin - Simmons University Anthem Dr. Richardson That's the story of Dr. Rupert N, Richardson, eighth preside of Hardin-Simmons University. An administrator and builder, Richardson has retained the basic philosophy needed by an educator; he never forgets he is a teacher — a teacher of of academic subjects. HOMECOMING As in every year. Homecoming and the All-School-Sing highlighted the 1977 Fall season. This year's homecom- ing theme was H-SU Three Ring Circus bringing Par- ents, Alumni, and Students together as a unified body. Kicked off by the ground breaking of a new athletic complex, the afternoon of the 11th started the weekend with registration at 2:00 PM and the All-School-Sing at 7:30 PM. This year's homecoming festivities held a special treat in the form of a large circus tent south of Sid Richardson. Here the different clubs and organizations were allowed to set up booths for money making projects. This turned out to be an enjoyable event for everyone. Saturday was filled with various receptions, coffees, and reunions — and lots of exciting friendly faces. All in all, it turned out to be a true reunion of loved ones — The Three Ringed Circus. . .
