The officers were: Lt. Col. H. P. Rice, Major Buford, and Captain Magee. During the summer of 1953 Major Buford left for Korea and Captain Magee left for Germany. In 1953-54 the officers were: Lt. Col. H. P. Rice, Major G. R. Barrow, and Major L. J. Schelter. In 1954-55 the officers remained the same. Of the NCO’s, M Sgts. Busby and Mosley and Sgt. Tinker remained at H-SU and were joined by M Sgt. Wagner, SFC’s Peace and Yarbro, and Sgt. Cunningham. The session of 1955-56 saw the ROTC guided by a new PMS T, Lt. Col. H. H. Burd took the place of Lt. Col. Rice. The NCO’s who left were: Sgt. Tinker and Sgt. Cunningham. Sgt. Burns, SFC Franks, and M Sgt. Minnis arrived during the summer to replace Sgt. Tinker and Sgt. Cunningham. The 1956-57 officers included Lt. Col. H. H. Burd, Major G. R. Barrow, and Cap- tain E. H. Hale. The NCO’s remained the same except for the addition of M Sgt.
