The Will Reynolds Chapter of the Future Farmers of America at Hardin Reynolds Memor¬ ial School held their Chapter Sweetheart Contest during December. The boys chose four girls from each homeroom; from these four each home¬ room selected one girl to be its candidate. Presentations and awards were made during National F.F.A. Week. Miss Edith Via won the honor of being Chapter Sweetheart and was given an official F.F.A. Chapter Sweetheart jacket. All contestants received a charm and a certificate. The Betty Crocker Homemaking award is much coveted and sought after by senior Home Economics girls. The search for the Homemaker of America was established to enhance the dignity of the American home and to stimulate an interest in homemaking. This year Gayna Craddock was presented this award, on the basis of her score on a written and attitude test on homemaking. We extend our heartiest congratulations to her. 64
