The members attempt to serve their school and community by sponsoring a blood drive each year. This year the drive obtained seventy-eight pints for the Blood Center of Southeast Texas. In February the senior members introduced the twenty-one new members to the student body in a ' tapping ceremony in the auditorium. In May these new members and their parents were honored with a special induction ceremony and officer installation at the Sour Lake Elementary Cafetorium.
