District 17-H 1 School Board School Board: From Left to Right, Dr. Michael Downing, Donald Beary, Lambert Vandersloot (Vice-Chairman), Donald Fox, Harvey Pitsch, Dr. Willard Anderson (Superintendent). Shown below, Joseph Koebbe (Chairman). It has been a very busy year for the Board of Trustees of School Districts 17-H and 1. It is rewarding to see the good things that are happening in our school district. The completion of our building program, the beginning of a gifted and talented program, and the near completion of the curriculum development program. There are new and productive efforts being made in every area of our school system. I believe the support for better education among students, faculty and community has never been higher. This year will mark the end of twelve years of service as Superintendent of Schools for Dr. Willard R. Anderson. The Board of Trustees will do everything to make the transition from Dr. Anderson to the new superintendent as smooth as possible so that the good things will continue to happen without interruption.
