President Anna Schooling The Hardin Chapter, Future Homemakers of America originated on November 1, 1946. This organization consists of girls who have taken and are taking Home Ee. Thirty--seven girls are members this year The motto is Toward New Horizions, the colors are red and white, and the flower is the red rose. Phyllis Ballard was elected as a delegate to attend the First National Convention which was held in Kansas City last sunmen at one of our meetings she gave an interesting report of the activities there. The officers are: President-Anna Blanche Schooling, Vice-President- Wanda Bailey, Secretary-Treasurer-Betty Jane Mallory, Reporter-Rosalie Miller, Parliamentar1anPhyllis Ballard, Historian-Jean Bandy, Song- Leader-Marjorie Jones Project Leader-Lois Kgllenberger. Judy Happy was elected Secretary of the Northwest District, Sub-District No.l, and Mary Marie Evans as Reporter of the Northwest District Sub-District No. 1.
