Ma Kirby KC1eo Anne Striderl and her family are going to Camden, New Jersey where they are going to visit her married daughter, Beulah CBever1y Evansl. Her husband, Elmer KJlmmy Happy! calmly drives the car to Camden. The other characters are: Caroline fVernetta Luedersl, age 15, who is the dauvtter and Arthur KKenneth Fosterl, age 13, who is the son. Richard Bales is the Stame Manaier and takes the parts of all minor characters. Ma's homely philosophy, hcr devotion to her family, and her observations of life make the play.
