Q, ,sew L' ' As you have turned the pages of the 1945-46 year book, you have seen the pupils of Hardin Public Schools at work and playg play in which boys and girls can test their power, discover themselves. The coming together of a people, both in seriousness and in play, is basic to a sound democracy. Good citizen- ship can best be taught through doing things togetherg through playing together. 41- if -If -lb il- JUST AS THE SUN WENT DOWN Through the trees came a breeze, And the tumbling waters seemed to seize Nature! I stood spellbound, for there I found God's loveliness--just as the sun went down. A soft breath fair gently blew my hair As I picked the sweet flowers of this golden hour.
