Eaikeizfiedf Ardath Mye rs President The Barkerettes is an organization of volunteer girls , from the four upper grades. Their purpose is to provide pep at the football and basketball games. Last November the football boys invited the Barkerettes to go with them to Columbia to see the Missouri ve. Oklahoma football game. This was the first time most of the boys and girls had had an opportunity to see a game like this and the day was enjoyed by all. The football boys and the Barkerettes look forward to the yearly event which is a chilli supper given by the Bark- erettes in honor of the football boys. This year the Bark- erettes chose the girl whom they thoughty did the most for ghe Barkerettes. The outstanding girl chosen was Dorothy ones. 5'-I IE in may Q '24
