The membership has now been extended to include all students taking college courses in History and the Social Sciences. The aims which the sponsor, Dr. T. P. Oakley, had in mind and which he has succeeded in bringing before the students are: To promote civic improvement in Hardin College, to gain information, and to make the classwork interesting. Its purpose is to learn Spanish conversation in a pleasant but effective manner.
