4-if I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, and my hands to larger service for my club, my community, and my country. This is the pledge of more than one million 4-H'ers throughout the United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. The purposes stated in the pledge are the things which 4-H'ers strive to achieve in their projects each year. To make the best better is the motto, which, at beginning of each project, a 4-H'er re- solves to go by and to work harder in the coming year. These are the things which 4-H clubbers in Hardee County, as in many other places, set as their goal.
