The club is a social organiza- tion and its Chief aim is helping the Senior Wonien's Club in its many activities. Q I 4' 1 : 1 I The Rosalie Ross Chapter of the Future Teachers was organized in 1956. It is af- filiated with the State and National organizations of Future Teacher Clubs. The purpose of this group is to interest outstanding students in the profession of teaching and to give students information and experiences pertinent to their chosen vocation. Our objective is to determine and develop the qualities necessary for making a good teacher. We are also working to prepare ourselves for the more important work of the Senior High Club. The Junior High 4-H Club has brought many girls together for fellowship and learn- ing. Each day as we grow older, we learn new and better things in the fields of cooking, sewing, recreation and child care. It is most interesting to see and know the interests and talents of other girls. Through others, we benefit ourselves. By completing our projects, we are privileged to go to 4-H Camp where we meet girls from all over the state. By being a 4-H girl, you learn to be a better person, to mix with people, and to make the best better. fa. 7' - sis- sane:-1-:D i S' QQ ibn' H ,pe-4' I Shllldfllg, fcfl In righli Murie Criswell. Our boys gained experience and learned many fundamentals under the able guid- ance of two new coaches. The results of this years playing will show itself in future seasons. The record was a 1 win and 9 lost record, This one win was against llesuit. Charles Yawn, running 65 yards on a loose fumble, made the winning touchdown in the final moments of the game. The Cats came close to three more wins but the offensive strength was not enough to turn the tide against more powerful and experienced teams. BILLY BTQCKLEY-End DICKIE SCAFFE4H.B. That's the way Coach Terrell describes his basketball team for this season. Only one starter and two reserves returned from last year's squad. This loss in power can be attributed to graduation and transfers to other schools. The majority of the team is composed of young boys with little or no experience in basketball. In spite of the loss in manpower, and the short experience of this year's squad, Hardee has compiled a 10 win and 13 loss record. Most all of the boys from this year's team will return to improve this record. This will not be difficult, if each boy will determine in his heart and mind that Hardee team is the best in the state, and that a mediocre team is not satisfactory. The aim of this group is to bring conference, district, and state honors to Hardee High School. To this, we dedicate our efforts. -r ,-I ? ,I Z' A 'W' ,X 9, .'E A .gg 'wig uh Q 2' ,ffl W DEWEY TE VWR7 1 my 45 '7 SES i -if SQL: 'n 'll' Y , nh W ?w. 1? i 51' fain!!
