The Hardee County Junior-Senior High School Student Council of 1957 is a group of students elected by their respective classes to represent the student body. The Student Council strives to bring about bet- ter relations between the student body and the faculty and administration. The Student Council repre- sents the high school at the various civic organizations' meetings. The Council carries on several service projects during the school, among these are: supervising the lunch line, placing trash cans around the campus, and many other worthwhile activities. Each month the Council has a meeting with the entire student body to present a program and report the activities and business of the month.

The Cheerleaders of Hardee High worked hard to raise school spirit at all the foot- ball and basketball games this year. Decorating goal posts, leading in pep rallies preced- ing every game, accepting the defeats as well as the victories, and traveling far to give a cheer, these cheerleaders played an important part in our school activities this year.
