Yours ago, a very common Class motto wus Hitch Your Wagon to a Star. This motto may be an actual fact of life during your lifetime. Your school hopes that it has provided you with the basic building tools of learning-xtools which you will further develop and use for the benefit of L111 mankind. Best wishes are extended to each and every one of the graduates. As you have been a credit to your home and school in the pa st, may your life he lived in such a way that you will continue to ho a credit to the institutions which have brought you to the thre shold of adult Citizenship. I congratulate you lfor having reached one of your goals. Most of you have Lukeu the highway this year from camp to camp, from minor goal to minor goal. This climb of life hus been, though sometimes difficult, infinitely worth the effort. Each goal you reach 011 the high- way through school makes the next goal closer and your de- termination greater; each fail- ure works the opposite way. Graduates of 1965, your school years establish the kind of adult you will be and largely determine your degree of success in life. You have been led through the gates of knowledge, making possible your future career and training you for the strenuous pace of a fast- moving, complex society. Baker. MKS. Beckman has been at our school for eight years. st. Elizabeth Merritt Qighti is secretary to Asst. Principal Murray M. Blake. This is Mrs. Merritt's second year here.
