,A gown! of Z ' PAUL E. HAKALA, PRESIDENT - Mr, Hakala was elected to the Board in November, l945 and started his first term on January 1, 1946, He was elected President of the Board at that time and has served as president since then. A gradu- ate of Harbor High School, Class of 1927, Mr, Hakala is now Assistant Recor- der of Ashtabula County, He is married to the former Clara Blood of Conneaut and they have three daughters, Sarah, Susan and Jean, The Hakalas live at 1316 W. 8th Street. JAMES G. LAIRD, VICE-PRESIDENT - Mr. C, W, Askew, President of the Harbor Board for 40 years, passed away in the summer of 1945. The Board members elected Mr. Laird to fill the unexpired term of Mr, Askew and in the fall of 1945 at the regular elections he was elected a full member and has been mem- ber and Vice-President since that time, He graduated from Harbor High in 1923, Mr. Laird is a partner in the J. G. Laird Lumber Company, He and Mrs. Laird have two children, Linda, now attending Oberlin College and Jim, attending Berkshire School in Massachusetts, The Lairds live at 2411 Walnut Blvd, DR, CARL G, PEARSON - Member of the Board since January, 1950, Dr, Pearson graduated from Ashtabula City High School in 1927. He is a dentist. Dr. and Mrs, Pearson live at 2520 Walnut Blvd, and have three children, John, Peter, and Betsy. HARRY G. BUONOMO - Member of the Board since January, 1952. Mr, Buonomo graduated from Harbor High School in 1935 - is owner of Lakeside Cleaners, The Buonomos live at 2676 Walnut Blvd, and have one son, Tommy. CHARLES D. POTTI - Member of the Board since January, 1952. Mr. Potti attended the Harbor Schools, but transferred to Fairport and graduated there in 1937. Mr. Pottl and his wife, who live at 615 Lake Avenue, have a son, David. He is a partner in the Potti Funeral Directors. ROBERT Z. KOSKI, CLERK OF THE BOARD - Mr. Koski was elected to the Board in November, 1945 and on January 15th took over the duties of Clerk of the Board, which position he has held continuously, Mr. Koski graduated from Harbor High School in 1925. He is married, and they have three children, Robert, now serving in Korea, Jane and Maryann. They live at 1632 W, 6th Street, His law practice is at 809 Lake Avenue, 1 . Q
