HBIBOFIBH PFCSS HARBOR CREEK HIGH SCHOOL May 29 School IS over and at last the Class of 48 has reached 1tS goal They are SGHIOFSV Flnally they can run the school lrstead of belng bossed Cthey thmkl All through the years they and the facul y thought they would never make It but the hard road has been covered and they are at the top They carrled on many actlvltles ln thexr Junlor year ln cludlng a few to pad thelr pocketbook for thelr Senlor year and all of lts expenslve projects Thelr capable leaders Wlfh a dlfferent group for each semester were Reba Henson and Doug Eades as presldents vlce presldents Doug agaln and Jack Baker Robert Bartlett secretary treasurers Mary L1b eratore and Bruce Morgan Thelr first attempt 1n the soclal whlrl of the year was a Sadle Hawkm s Day dance The glrls had a wonderful tlme chasmg the boys although that was nothlng unusual The Alblon and Cambrldge Sprmgs home games found the Jumors sellmg refreshments and maklng the place hot Wlth JIVS muslc after each game The class party helped to spend some of thelr hard earned funds so to relmburse the depleted treasury orange and black penclls lettered wlth the school name were sold and naturally they made qulte a h1t The usual responsl b1llt16S of publlshmg the yearbook and the newspaper were cheerfully taken over and although they mlght not have been the best edltxons sent to press the class members nevertheless had a lot of fun compllmg them After what they hope w11l be a speedy summer we all ex pect to be back ln September to eagerly take over the task of makmg thelr flnal year at Harbor Creek Hlgh School as suc cessful and enjoyable as posslble 22 1 r - ' , . . . ..
