The Senior Play The annual Senlor Play was held 0'1 December 6 1946 The play What A Llfe by Cllfford Goldsmlth was under the d1rect1on of MISS Hall Wlth Katherme LEWIS actlng as student dlrector The comedy whlch had to do wlth the rather un fortunate circumstances ln the llfe of a certam Henry Aldrich was acclalmed as a huge success Henry who was always getting lnto trouble was portrayed by Harold McLean wh1le Dorls Heppner had the honor of belng Henry s g1rl frlend Barbara Pearson Others 1n the cast lncluded Don Eastman Jack Walker Dlane Grenz Jack Hartle Evelyn Doerr Anne Whlte Shlrley Scallen Betty Hotchklss Janet Moorhead Nor bert Armes Loretta Sharaff Rlchard Noonan Dorothy Balley Rose Marle Ferraro Blossom Harcourt Loralee Keene Gladys Bingham Ruth Cass and Francls Ferguson Sensor History We came we saw we conquered As we look back over our school days wc see our group progresslng we thought to the mlghty Freshman stage Our class vt as broken 1nto two parts one sectlon be 1ng the superlors of Central Junlor H1gh and the other group the mfant and callow Freshman class of Harbor Creek Hlgh School In our Sophomore year we were banded together for a common cause t progress 1n school 3Ct1V1t16S and to work IH school as a unlted group We consclen tlously Jolned clubs and supported school functlons Our Jumor year was filled Wlth much actlvlty and work The Newspaper Yearbook Junlor play and Prom were the extra currlcular functlons that made us feel at last we were becommg lmportant 11 school act1v1t1es And thls year we were Senxors the h ghest pos txon IH school l1fe We were kept very busy Wlth schoolwork but st1ll enjoyed the pleasures due only a Semor the Semor play Prom dances and all the act v1t1es leadlng to graduatlon At last came our unforgetable graduatxon Thls n1ght s1gn1fies all we put lnto our school 11fe for the past twelve years We now stand 1n awe upon the threshhold of a new llfe wondermg what the future holds for us And so xt IS wlth a sense of regret that we Senlors of 1947 say Good Bye 20 9 sc . , . , . ,, . . . . . . . 9 Q Y J , - 9 9 9 9 . . . , . . .
