SEPTEMBER Here we go againl Harbor Light relit with organization. Seniors chose class advisors. Seniors elect B. T. O. 's QBig Time Operatorsj. Football season begins as we defeat Deckerville here. Library under supervision of new staff. Football at the Pigeon roost fWe wonlp First meeting of Beacon Staff. Caps and gowns chosen for the Day. Sophomores order class rings. Seniors watch the birdie as pictures are snapped. VaSSar defeated us at football on their field. OCTOBER Abra Cadabral The magicians were here. What fun at freshman initiation and the All-School party given by the seniorsl Liberty bell was heard by assembly as Crusade for Free- dom begins. Pirates run from Elks at Elkton, Band enjoys U. of M. football game at Ann Arbor. Juniors have fun at roast in spite of wet hot dogs. Parents and teachers meet for first time this year. Theater is packed as the Student Council provides Hal- loween Talent Show and Movie. NOVEMBER Parents and sons get their fill at F. F. A. Banquet. Cass City made our county institute vacation blue by de- feating us on our own field. Jerry McSafety teaches us ill a few things. Home Ec girls see cooki v .emonstration as the fifth grade holds a candy sale. Several students were absent as nursing career students visit Lansing and Student Council trips to Ann Arbor. Everyone grab a partner. lt's the Junior dance. Cheerleaders journey to see Ann Arbor-Indiana game and take part in a state cheerleading clinic. Assembly enjoys Chinese Music Program. Sixth grade makes money by selling candy. Vet's Class holds dinner in cafeteria. Juniors sell candy during lunch hour. Another candy sale--cheerleaders this time. The first snowfall.
