SENIOR CLASS OF 1959 The sands of Time moved swiftly during our years at Har-Brack. It is nearing graduation. The Time has come to look at the future, but as we prepare to commence our lives anew, let us take a look at a few of the grains from the falling sands of the past three years. As the Sophomore Class, we met in early fall and elected Suzanne Geopfert, President, Robert Orzechowski, Vice President, Joel Crytzer. Secretary-Treasurerg and Wfalter Bernacki, Activities Board Representative. Our advisors were Mrs. Koh, Mr. Alwine, Mr. Toth, and Mr. Gugino. NWC can recall our looks of bewilderment when given wrong directions by upperclassmen or when our lockers wouldnt open or our locks were on backwards. However, we soon got over our amazement and began trying to raise some money. As our Sophomore project, we sold stationery. Our junior year was a busy one. Led by President, Robert Orzechowski, Vice President Gretchen Affrica, and Colleen McCafferty, Secretary-Treasurer, we sold magazines, peanut brittle, and Easter candy. As part of the school program, we put on a talent show. By May, 1958, it was Time to say good-bye to the Seniors, so as our theme for the 1815, we chose Sayonara. By September, 1958, we found ourselves in the long- awaited position of the worldly Senior. Our principal money raising project was the successful Senior Class play Bottoms UP, under the direction of Miss Danik. To high- light the year, the Senior Class participated in Har-Brack's initial Class Day. As the sands of Time sift hurriedly past, we tend to think of the bright horizons ahead, forgetting the events of the past three years. Every event, however, is like a grain of sand that, by its ability to withstand the pressure of age, waits to be recalled again and again SENIOR ADVISORS Left lo right: Mr. Toth, Miss Kennedy, Mrs. Alwine, Mr. Gugino.
