b5 '4' PRINCIPAL Two years ago, Mr. Harry C. Pry came to our school district as assistant principal. The Class of 1959 is the first full term class to graduate under Mr. Pry's guidance. Mr. Pry's versatility extends from his work into his personality. There we find a broad sense of humor coupled with an uncompromising determination in our common task of making a better school. Mr. Pry received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees from the University of Pitts- burgh. XX! SECRETARIES X Nw ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL A warm smile, a vigorous handshake, and a strict adherence to justice are not all the qualities that characterize Mr. Paul Urik. -Since he took over the position of Assistant Principal, he has demonstrated marked ability in administration. Throughout all the problems that Mr. Urik has handled, he has displayed tremendous patience and understanding. Mr. Urik received Bachelor of Education and Mas- ter of Education from Duquesne University. av' Mrs. Mason and Mrs. Hunter are two well-known ladies at Har-Brack. As the office secretaries. the two women often find themselves aiding students and faculty in addition to their regular duties. As vital cogs in the slowly grinding wheel of edu- cation. Mrs. Mason and Mrs, Hunter accomplish the maximum amount of work with a minimum of con- fusion. The Class of 1959 wishes to thank these two women for their help and understanding. Supervising Principal Robert E. Marshall Mr. Robert E. Marshall has served for five years as Supervising Principal of the Har-Brack School District. To the students of Har-Brack High School, Mr. Marshall is an inspiration not only as an influence in our school life but our civic organizations also. Mr, Marshall received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, nn! Assistant Supervising Principal Walter S. Bazard Mr. Bazarcls main clutv is to work with Mr. Mar- shall, assisting him in aclniinistrating the affairs of the school district. Before coming to I-ltlf-Bllltili to serve as Principal. Mr. Bazarcl was principal of various other high schools. Mr. B.1Z.1fd obtained his Bichelor of Arts at XV.1sh- ington and jefferson College and his Master of Arts at the lfniversity of Pittsburgh.

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR Miss Broadfoot, in her guidance work, endeavors to assist the student in his program, work out his difficulties, and assist with vital schedule changes. Her work also consists of the compiling of valuable information about each student in the high school, including grades, achievement test scores, and health cards. Miss Broadfoot obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught Plane Geometry and Algebra II before accepting the position of guidance counselor. CAFETERIA WORKERS The cafeteria workers can be commended in their three-fold job of serving lunches. The appetizing food, immaculate surroundings, and quick service which they provide all help to make the lunch hour enjoyable. ' or another. SCHOOL NURSE Miss Laura Zylinski, a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing and University of Pittsburgh, serves as our school nurse.
