FOREWORD THAT LASTING SCHOOL SPIRIT “We’ll fight for dear ole H. H. S. Win or lose we are all for you....” The loyalty andfriendliness with which the students of Happy High regard their alma mater has become a lasting memory which will always live in their hearts. It is the desire of the annual staff that in years to come this record of books, sports, fun and laughter will bring to you the enchanting remembrance of that lasting school spirit.

Each of us is endowed with abilities to reason and learn. These are gifts of our Creator, but is up to the individual to take advantage of these pre- cious gifts. Our community has provided the proper environment whereby our abilities might be developed to our own credit as well as to honor our parents. The Round-Up is a splendid example of trained and developed abilities. May it be a pleasure to each of us in the future to look at our annuals and be reminded of our accomplishments in 1948-49.
